Jefferson Native Earns College Degree With Honors

Kathryn A. Szymanowski just made her family, and community, very proud.

The Oak Ridge resident just completed her college undergraduate career at Haverford College, receiving a bachelor's degree with honors in psychology with a minor in philosophy, the college announced.

Daughter of Walter and Sandra Szymanowski, Kathryn's senior thesis is entitled "Departures: the Relation of Master Narrative Deviations to the Self."

Haverford College is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania, and held its commencement ceremony on May 19.

Szymanowski is also a Jefferson Township High School alumnus.
