Jefferson Twp Police Department Receives Community Policing Award

Congratulations!

JEFFERSON, NJ — The Jefferson Police Department was recognized for their community policing work by the Attorney General. The department was a recipient of the 2017 New Jersey Attorney General’s Office Community Policing Awards.

Lieutenant Paul Castimore, Sergeant Joseph Hale, Detective Joseph Kratzel, PO Roger Davis and SRO Chris Fabian were recognized for their work with JTPD's community programs.

JTPD frequently shares their community policing work on their Facebook page. Recent examples include welcoming Girl Scout and Boy Scout Troops to headquarters, visiting a local daycare to read stories, and teaching students about the dangers of drug and alcohol use.
