Lake Hopatcong Block Party Back Next Week

JEFFERSON, NJ — The fourth annual Lake Hopatcong Foundation Block Party is back again! This year's celebration will be held on May 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The block party will have food, crafts, entertainment, boat rides and plenty of chances to learn about the lake. There is a family train ride and kids ages 12 and under can participate in a park wide scavenger hunt, according to the website.

Bands will be performing between 10:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with a giant 50/50 raffle drawing at 4:45 p.m. (check out a full line up here).

Parking at the state park is limited, and is a suggested donation of $6. For free, attendees can park nearby and take a shuttle to and from the park.
