Local Stockholm Talent to Star in The Secret Garden
Hexagon Players present this magical musical for family audiences in a hauntingly NEW production featuring outstanding local talent.
Stockholm - Local Stockholm talent will appear in The Secret Garden. 12 -year-old Madeline Lupi, will play Jane and Dance Troupe, while her father Victor Lupi, will play Major Holmes, in Hexagon Player's The Secret Garden.
Madeline has been appearing in theater since the age of 5 and has performed in 15 different productions. Most recent performances include Billy Elliot (Tracey Atkinson), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), Mother Goosed (Beth), Peter Pan (Pirate Skylights), Annie (Orphan) and Beauty and the Beast (Enchanted Object). She also enjoys acting for film and has been credited with 50+ film projects. She has earned 7 nominations for Best Actress and won at the 2016 Christian Film Festival and the 2016 Universal Film Festival.
For Victor, this is his first musical theater experience. Having watched his daughters perform over the years, he finally decided to take the plunge. Although he's never taken the stage before, he does fiddle around on the guitar from time to time, and did minor in music theory in college. Victor hopes this is a new hobby he can take on more than once.

Hexagon Players presents their 2016 Fall production of a brand new, never-before-seen staging of The Secret Garden from November 11 through November 19 for a limited 7 show engagement. With spectacular Asian-inspired choreography, amazing stage illusions, fanciful puppetry, dazzling period costumes, and a staging that is both hauntingly suspenseful and whimsically magical. Performances at Grace Lutheran Church, 65 E Main St, Mendham. This is one family-friendly production that is sure to leave an indelible imprint on all who experience it.
This enchantingly haunting 4-D experience of The Secret Garden is based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s children’s book, music by Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman, and directed by Patrick Frances Mahn, with Musical Direction by Darlene Yannetta.

10 year-old orphan, Mary Lennox is brought to the moors of Yorkshire to live at Miselthwaite Manor with her reclusive Uncle Archibald and his invalid son, Colin. After discovering a neglected garden, Mary and Colin gradually begin to gain new-found strength and passion in their lives as the garden begins to blossom and bloom again. Full of a sweeping score, beautiful costumes, illusions and touching storytelling magic - this show is a must-see for those of all ages.

The Hexagon Players is a local community theater in Mendham which has produced 80 plays over the last 30 years. Their 2016 Spring Production of Billy Elliot, garnered 11 NJACT Perry Award Nominations, wining for Outstanding Youth Actor for the title character of Billy (Parker James Fullmore). Previous award-winning shows include, Annie, which was nominated for nine NJACT Perry Awards, winning for Outstanding Young Actress, (Lauren Dennis), Drop Dead, nominated for seven NJACT Perry Awards, winning for Outstanding Ensemble Actor in a Play (Paul Bettys), and Seussical, nominated for four NJACT Perry Awards.
