Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Truck In Jefferson: Police
The man was struck on Route 15 Wednesday afternoon.
JEFFERSON, NJ — A man was struck and killed by a truck in Jefferson Wednesday afternoon, a spokesperson for the Morris County Prosecutor's Office confirmed.
They declined to provide more information about the death, citing an ongoing investigation. Jefferson Capt. Sean Conrad said the man was hit on Route 15 near Taylor Road around 2:30 p.m.
Members of the Jefferson Township Police, Jefferson Township Rescue and Fire Departments, Morris County Sheriff’s Office, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, NJSP and NJ DOT responded.
