Mini Golf Course Shows Off Old Time Lake Scenes

If you’re looking for a Lake Hopatcong-related day, you might want to check out the recently opened Lake Hopatcong Golf Club. The course offers holes with recreations of historical lake buildings. In addition, the course offers a view of the real thing at every hole.

The club, three years in the making, is the brainchild of Bela Szigethy, who came up with the idea of historical scenes.

The second hole on the course starts inside the Some of the scenes include the Ogden Mill at the sixth hole, the Yacht Club at the fifteenth hole and the dam at Hopatcong State Park at the eighteenth hole.

The course is open seven days a week. It offers early bird specials, rain checks in the event of inclement weather and a free soft serve ice cream cone at the Main Line Market with a validated score card. All children get a free gift.
