Morris Freeholders Announce 'Road' Meetings for 2015
Governing body to begin second full tour of county's 39 municipalities.

In an effort to reach more residents, the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders will hit the road again, holding three meetings in different towns beginning in April.
A tradition started in 2007, the governing body is now on its second tour through the county after holding at least one meeting in each of the region’s 39 municipalities.
The 2015 tour will begin on April 22 in Harding at the town’s municipal building at 21 Blue Mill Road. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and the public will have the opportunity to speak.

The Freeholders will follow up that meeting with a session in Morristown on May 27 at the municipal building there, and in Chatham Township on June 24. More “road” meetings are being planned in 2015 as well.
“These meetings give us an opportunity to meet people and officials from throughout the county on their own turf, to hear their local and regional concerns, and get a better understanding of what is important to their towns and communities,’’ said Freeholder Director Kathy DeFillippo in a statement.
