NJ Man Dies After Being Pinned Beneath His Own Car, Cops Say
Neighbors helped police push the car off the 32-year-old man.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ β A Morris County man died this week after he was pinned beneath his own car, police say.
On Tuesday, around 5 p.m., police were called to 81 Longwood Lake Road in Jefferson on reports that an unresponsive man was pinned beneath a car.
Authorities arrived to find the man, later identified as Jerry Leach, 32, was stuck beneath the rear tire of his car, officials said.

Neighbors helped police push the car off of Leach, and he was pulled from under the car.
He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. Itβs not clear how Leach became wedged under his car, or how long he was pinned.
