Nor'easter Closes Jefferson Schools Wednesday
Storm expected to bring between five and 12 inches of snow to the area.

The Jefferson School district is closed Wednesday, Nov. 26 in an anticipation of an Autumn nor’easter that could wallop the area.
The district made the decision early Wednesday morning as the storm began to roll in. The National Weather Service forecasts anywhere between five and 12 inches of snow blanketing the area between daybreak and midnight.
Jefferson schools were scheduled to operate on an early dismissal schedule Wednesday leading into the four-day Thanksgiving weekend. This is the first of four allotted snow days built-in to each school calendar.
