Class Size: 3-8 Students per class

Schedule: 2, 5 hour classes with a lunch break

Class Fee: $100 ($50 per class)

Class Description: Learn the basics of oil painting from the mixing of colors & composition to blending & creating form using high-lights, mid-tones & shadows. You will learn various techniques, including glazing, scumbling & dry-brush. Also covered: the care & maintenance of your equipment, the use of mediums, the temperatures & drying times of various colors, and much more. You will work from a close-up photo reference of your pet which must be brought to each class. Students will be shown how to draw & compose their animal painting prior to the application of paint. In the process you will create a beautiful painting that you can proudly display.
