1. Sparta Food Truck & Music Fest
When: Saturday, July 18, 2026, 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

The Sparta Food Truck & Music Fest promises a full day of gourmet food truck eats, a beer/sangria garden, live music and kids’ activities. Guests are asked to bring a non-perishable canned or boxed item to support the local food pantry.

2. Plays In The Park
When: Select dates between Thursday, July 16, and Saturday, August 8, 2026, 8 p.m.
Where: Pleasant Valley Park Amphitheater | 3405 Valley Rd, Basking Ridge
In nearby Basking Ridge, families can enjoy free live performances of beloved shows at Pleasant Valley Park Amphitheater. “Shrek the Musical” will run July 16–18 and July 23–25, while “You Can’t Take It With You” will run July 31–August 1 and August 6-8.

3. Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival

4. Jefferson Township Summer Gazebo Concert Series
When: Fridays through August 21, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Municipal Building Complex | 1033 Weldon Rd, Oak Ridge
On Friday evenings through the summer, the Jefferson Arts Committee will bring free live music to the community with its annual Summer Gazebo Concert Series. Residents are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, and can also bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy throughout the evening.

5. Music Under The Stars
When: Wednesday nights through September 9, 7 p.m.–9 p.m.
Where: The Windlass | 45 Nolans Point Park Rd, Lake Hopatcong
Head over to The Windlass in Lake Hopatcong to enjoy live music, delicious food and waterfront views for the restaurant’s Music Under the Stars concert series. Tickets can be purchased for single shows or the season; on-site, guests can also purchase à la carte menu items, crafted by the restaurant’s executive chef.

6. Sparta Farmers Market
When: Saturdays through November, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.

The Sparta Farmers Market partners with local small family farms to bring the community freshly grown, prepared and baked goods each week. A rotating roster of live musicians and monthly special events make each visit unique.
