Jefferson Twp resident, John Becker is traveling in Amsterdam, Netherlands to train with A.F.C. Ajax Academy coaches through invite only generation adidas international select.
This year TSF is proud to announce that John Becker has been selected for one of the 32 spots for the generation adidas international A.F.C. Ajax Select Program.
Each year the top adidas youth soccer clubs nationwide have the exclusive opportunity to nominate players and coaches to participate in the generation adidas international select program. 96 talented players have been invited to train this August at Real Madrid Foundation, A.F.C. Ajax, and Olympique Lyonnais
- three of the world’s most powerful soccer clubs.

Becker plays for TSF and will also play soccer at JTHS. He is looking forward to training with AFC Ajax Academy coaches and playing competitive matches against top level Dutch academy teams. He feels this program will allow him to nurture and strengthen his soccer skills. A.F.C Ajax’s multitude of trophies include 33 Eredivisie titles, 18 KNVB Cup titles, and 4 Champion’s League titles. In addition to being trained by A.F.C. Ajax academy coaches, Becker will play in international friendly
matches against Academy teams and receive individual evaluation from A.F.C. Ajax Academy coaches - an opportunity presented to very few American players.
