From Murder To Fraud: 28 Arrested By Hudson County Sheriff In Warrant Sweep

Offenses ranged from murder to failure to pay $89K in child support. The Hudson County Sheriff's Office arrested 28 people in a sweep.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The Hudson County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of 28 people from New York and New Jersey on warrants in Hudson County this week.

The offenses range from murder, kidnapping, and cruelty to children, to failure to pay $89,000 in child support.

When asked why some of the names below were withheld, a spokesperson said some of them were likely withheld to protect the identity of minor family members.

Release From The Sheriff's Office, With Charges:

Led by Sheriff Frank X. Schillari, the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 28 people as a result of their most recent operation, which included a county-wide warrant sweep.

“As law enforcement officers, it is our duty to ensure that those who break the law are held accountable for their actions, and the success of this warrant sweep demonstrates our unwavering commitment to keeping our communities safe and bringing justice to those who have been victimized,” said Sheriff Schillari. “We will continue to work tirelessly to bring closure to these cases and prevent future criminal activity.”

A full list of the 28 suspects arrested during the warrant sweep (as well as their offenses) is below:

Murder:

Nyshiem 0. Inmon, 25, Inwood, N.Y., for Purposely Causing the Death, 2 counts of Robbery by Force, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Aggravated Assault, Criminal Attempt, Conspiracy with Multiple Objectives

Kidnapping:

A 32-year-old of Newark for Kidnapping and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose

Aggravated Assault:

A 49-year-old of Bayonne for Aggravated Assault

Also, Desiree N. Stephens, 37-year-old female of Newark, for violation of monitoring regarding an Aggravated Assault, Possssion of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Receiving Stolen Property, Theft by Unlawfully Taking Properity, and Terroristic Threats

Dionisio A. Querques, 33-year-old male from East Orange, for Aggravated Assault

Criminal Sexual Contact:

Andrew M. Lynn, 36-year-old male of Newark for violation of monitoring regarding a Criminal Sexual Contact

Child Neglect:

A 37 year old of Bayonne for Cruelty Neglect of Children

Robbery:

Angel R. Fragoso, 22-year-old male of Jersey City, for violation of monitoring regarding a Robbery/Violation Probation

Resisting Arrest:

Jaliyl Johnson, 20-year-old male of Jersey City for violation of monitoring regarding Resisting Arrest

Lawrence Browning, 42-year-old male of Staten Island, NY for violation of monitoring regarding Resisting Arrest/Eluding

Burglary:

Branden Watson, 30-year-old male of Bayonne, for Burglary—Entering Structure

Tony Do, 28-year-old male of Jersey City, for Burglary

A 53-year-old of Kearny for Burglary, Burglary by Entering a Structure, Contempt of Court Order, Harassment

Theft:

Albert Guzman, 58-year-old male of Jersey City for violation of monitoring regarding 3 counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking

Ricky Matos, 23-year-old male of Kearny, for Credit Card Theft

Asif Z. Farouk, 20-year-old male of Newark for Theft by Unlawful Taking-Movable Property

Alisha Boursiquot, 24-year-old female of Union for Credit Card Theft

Martin Kirk, 65-year-old male of Bayonne for violation of monitoring regarding 2 counts of Possession of CDS

Fugitive From Justice:

Darnell Brown, 43-year-old male of Union City, for being a Fugitive from Justice

Kasean P. Ross, 42-year-old male of lrvington, for being a Fugitive from Justice out of North Carolina, Manufacturing/Distributing CDS, Hindering

Non-Support:

John G. Stein, 54-year-old male of Bayonne, for Failure to Pay Child Support in the amount of $89,569.73

Sharone Johnson, 46-year-old male of Bayonne, for Failure to Pay Child Support

Violation of Probation:

Makeber L. Gantt, 49-year-old male of Jersey City, for Violation of Probation.
