HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating an early-morning crash in Union City, a spokeswoman said Wednesday.
News 12 reported that at least one person was killed in the crash on Bergen Turnpike between a Rivoka trash truck and an e-bike around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. They said their crews at the scene "observed what appeared to be a body covered by a sheet underneath a garbage truck."
Prosecutors confirmed for Patch they are investigating a fatal crash on Bergen Turnpike, but said they could not release more details until later Wednesday.
