JERSEY CITY, NJ — Police in Jersey City are asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing man with autism who requires medicine for diabetes.
Jorel Torres is missing from Jersey City's Heights section, up the hill from Hoboken.
"There is urgency to finding him," said a police spokeswoman on Wednesday morning. "He is diagnosed autistic and suffers from diabetes, which requires insulin there times per day."
Torres is described as white, approximately 6'3", with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, white pants and black sneakers.
He's known to frequent the Seventh Heaven gas station on Paterson Plank Road, the Walgreens at Heights Plaza, and the Subway on Central Avenue.
