JERSEY CITY, NJ — Firefighters raced to Franklin Street in Jersey City Heights on Tuesday afternoon to battle a three-alarm fire, according to scanner information and reports.
Quoting an official at the scene, Jersey City Times reported on Tuesday that at least one firefighter was injured in the blaze, and 30 people were left homeless.
ABC News reported that two firefighters and one woman were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The fire damaged 119 and 121 Franklin St.
Franklin Street is located just west of southwest Hoboken.
