New Coffee Shop Throws Its Cup Into The Downtown Jersey City Ring

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City (and neighboring Hoboken) are full of unique locally owned coffee shops, each with a specialty. Now there's a new shop in Downtown Jersey City dedicated to single-origin coffee from around the world, and fresh-baked pastries.

Bleu Coffee is now open in the Powerhouse Arts District, a neighborhood a few blocks from the waterfront and light rail, where development is growing, and the restaurants are plentiful.

"Our passion for coffee has led us on a journey to discover the most unique and flavorful beans," the owners said recently, "sourced from small farms and cooperatives in some of the most remote regions of the world."
