Mercedes Driver In Glen Rock 'Road Rage' Says He Was Late To Work: Cops
Police in Bergen County responded to a "road rage" report. The alleged perpetrator said he was late to work.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — A man accused of road rage in Glen Rock last week said he was late to work when he was stuck behind the alleged victim's car, police said.
Police in Glen Rock said that on Wednesday, they headed to Maple Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. to respond to a reported road rage incident.
A 46-year-old Glen Rock man told them that he was being tailgated by a late-model Mercedes, which then passed his vehicle over the double yellow lines before stopping near the intersection.

The Mercedes driver then got out of his vehicle, approached the alleged victim, and told him he was driving too slowly.
The caller told police he'd phoned them while the driver was walking toward his window.

Police then talked to the alleged perpetrator, a Hackensack man, 22.
The latter told police he was on the way to work and was in a rush.
Since police didn't see the incident, they told both drivers that they could file a report through Glen Rock Municipal Court.
No injuries were reported, and both parties left, police said.
