Mother's Killer Sentenced For Jersey City Shooting Death: Officials

Aieshia McFadden was walking home from the store with one of her daughters when the man sexually harassed and shot her, reports said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — An East Orange man will spend two decades behind bars for shooting a Jersey City mother in front of one of her children, officials said.

Judge Vincent J. Militello sentenced 39-year-old Thaddues Williams to 20 years in New Jersey State Prison on Oct. 21, the Hudson County prosecutor said. His sentence is subject to the No Early Release Act, according to Prosecutor Esther Suarez.

In July, Williams pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated manslaughter in connection with the death of 36-year-old Aieshia McFadden.
