NJ Park Closed Due To 'Uneven' Ground, Report Says
The park in Jersey City, which opened in 2021, is popular with families and with dogwalkers, among others.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A $2.5 million park that opened four years ago in Jersey City has been shut down after issues with uneven ground were discovered, according to a report.
Coles Park, between 16th and 18th streets, was shut down after the uneven ground was discovered, NJ.com reported.
Authorities did not explain what they meant about the surfaces being uneven or the potential safety issues involved. The park will be closed while the ground is realigned, the report said.
