Brooklyn-Based Organic Market To Open First NJ Location: See Where
Food Story Natural Market in Brooklyn will open its first New Jersey location in Journal Square. The owner of the market praised the area.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Food Story Natural Market — an organic food market with four stores in Brooklyn — will open its first New Jersey location this spring in the 68-story Journal Squared Tower in Journal Square, representatives said Thursday.
"We never really considered expanding to New Jersey, but when our broker brought us to Journal Square, we thought it was an outstanding location," said Natural Market owner Danny Young. "It's a thriving commercial and residential neighborhood."
The market has signed a lease for nearly 10,000 square feet of space at the residential tower.

"The market will serve the community at large with an extensive offering of natural and organic products, including meats, fish, sushi, fresh produce, and hot and cold foods, all prepared on the premises. The store will also carry fresh flowers and plants," said a spokesperson.
Journal Squared — developed by KRE near the Journal Square PATH train station — contains 704 rental residences, all of which were leased in the last five months, representatives say.
