Here Are 6 Hoboken Restaurants And Businesses Opening In 2022
A corner cafe, pizza lab, dog photographer, a child care space, and more are on the way in Hoboken. And the uptown Starbucks is back.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The pandemic hasn't stopped another wave of small businesses, restaurants, and services from opening or getting ready to open in 2022 in Hoboken.
Photography and childcare spaces, a new medical lab, and more have posted signage around town. And construction is ongoing at several former corner shops to turn them into something new.
Pizza And More

First off, the owner of the much anticipated Madison Pizza Lab recently said in the comments on social media that the restaurant at 152 Newark St. will open "In January some time."
Owner Dave Carney, who also manages the Madison Bar and Grill uptown, already gave a preview of his slices this past fall at the city's "pizza crawl."

Meanwhile, construction has been swiftly proceeding at what signs say will be a new cafe on Eighth and Bloomfield streets, replacing a dry cleaner's that closed not long ago. It looks to be spacious (see photo above).
And speaking of restaurants, Hoots Wings — a fast casual chicken wing joint from the people who brought you Hooters — will open in Hoboken some time in the next year or two. Play Space For Kids, And More
Meanwhile, for busy parents who need a break, another dropoff care/play space was set to open this month for kids, also offering classes, birthday parties, and a day camp. Down by the waterfront, Labcorp has posted signage on River Street, but hasn't announced an opening date yet.
