• Bayonne, Hoboken, & Jersey City join helicopter suit against Kearny's HHI Heliport (hudsoncountyview.com) — Jersey City has formally joined Bayonne, Hoboken, Kearny, and Hudson County in a shared legal fight over helicopter noise and safety tied to Kearny's HHI Heliport, capping its costs at $10,000. City officials say tourist helicopter traffic especially affects The Heights and near the Holland Tunnel, and hope the joint lawsuit and new federal push will finally curb flights over local neighborhoods.
