Jersey City Science Center Kicks Off $40M Expansion, To Include Goats, Otters, Mini Golf (patch.com) — Liberty Science Center in Jersey City has begun a $40 million Project Supernova expansion that will bring goats, physics-themed mini golf, and a new river otter habitat right to your backyard. The project also adds climate-focused exhibits, a pollinator garden, and upgrades to the planetarium, deepening the museum's role as a hands-on science hub for local families.

Fresh Start: Expungement Clinic can Help Residents Clear Record (tapinto.net) — Jersey City residents with New Jersey records can get free help understanding the expungement process at the Fresh Start Expungement Clinic on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the City Hall Annex on Kearny Avenue. Co-hosted by Assemblyman Jerry Walker and the Public Defender's Office, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and focus on clearing eligible criminal and juvenile records.

Shinedown, Black Label Society & More Announce 'Unwrapped' Acoustic Holiday Tour (themosh.net) — Jersey City will host two nights of the 'Unwrapped: An Acoustic Holiday' tour at Loew's Jersey Theatre on December 9 and 11, headlined by Smith & Myers of Shinedown. The rotating lineup brings Ice Nine Kills, Black Label Society members, The Warning, The Funeral Portrait, Black Stone Cherry, and more for a rare, metal‑leaning acoustic holiday experience close to home.

Two Robinhood Employees Charged With Fraud (justice.gov) — Federal prosecutors say a Jersey City resident who worked as an engineer at Robinhood is charged, along with a California colleague, in an alleged scheme to trade cryptocurrency-linked derivatives using confidential company information. Authorities allege both men made over $50,000 each, though they remain presumed innocent as the case proceeds in Manhattan federal court.
