Furlong and his father, named Kenneth, went through the exchange at Hackensack University Medical Center last year. When he was unable to give a kidney to save his father’s life, the hospital found a donor there, Carlos Ferman. Furlong then donated a kidney to Ferman’s wife, Debra, according to Daily Voice.
Ferman did not match his wife, so he donated his kidney to Furlong's father, according to The Record.
