Woman Fatally Hit By Car In Hudson County: Prosecutor
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a crash on Monday in which a Bayonne woman was fatally struck by a car.
BAYONNE, NJ — A Bayonne woman was fatally struck by a car on Monday morning, and the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Bayonne Police Department are investigating.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday that at approximately 11:50 a.m., police were notified of a pedestrian struck in the area of 22nd Street and Broadway.
Police found Maryann Patey, 74, of Bayonne with a head injury, prosecutors said.

She was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 12:46 p.m.
The striking vehicle, a black Nissan operated by a 31-year-old Bayonne woman, remained at the scene, officials said.
