Bling Sale Will Raise Money For Lacey Library Friends

FORKED RIVER, NJ — The Friends of the Lacey Library will sponsor a jewelry and accessory fundraising sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in Forked River, according to a library announcement.

The sale will feature necklaces, earrings, bracelets, purses and other items, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Lacey Library.

The announcement says all sales will be cash only. It also says jewelry and accessory donations will be accepted at the branch starting Nov. 1 for people who have lightly used items to give.

The event is tied to the Friends group's broader role supporting the Ocean County Library system's local branches. According to the announcement, Friends groups raise money through book sales, dine-to-donate programs, bling sales, bus trips and other activities. The announcement says those funds are used to expand branch programming and support ongoing projects.

For residents who want more details, the announcement lists the branch at 10 East Lacey Road, Forked River. It says people can also call 609-693-8566 for additional information about the fundraiser and donations.
