Apps, Apps and Oh Yeah...More Apps

Apps... apps... and oh yes you guessed it... more apps.

So many apps, so little time. How do you sift through them all to determine what to hit the "install now" on or which apps are unworthy of a download?

I have found having the app conversation with anyone, any place is the best method of app-ism. Try it. Next time you are having coffee with a friend and they touch their cell, simply ask, "What apps do you like?"

What do you use apps for? I guess the question really is what can't you use apps for. My new found must have apps are mostly functional, mostly odd, however, very entertaining.

1. Netrobe: Who doesn't want to organize their closet and see what is hidden on the top shelf without climbing up to take a peak? This app is genius for us somewhat organized yet vertically challenged packing our closets full of stuff hoarders.

2. Etsy: Shop for vintage goodies and made local fashions - art and virtually everything.

3. Instagram: Take a pic. Transform the look. Share. Love it!!!

4. Eat St: Yeah, I admit it, food trucks and food carts. Yup, that is my thing.

5. SketchBook: Ok, not really one of my personal favorites however, it keeps the kids nice and quiet when you need them to be.

6. Saveatunities: Of course, I created an app. Never miss an opportunity to save something, anything or everything. The possibilities are endless.

7. BabyBrain: Keep a log of your baby. May sound strange. However, all of us busy Mommy's have struggled to remember what time we gave the baby a dose of medicine or even what time we fed them. I wonder if it can log when new Mommy last took a shower because when you have a colic newborn, that memory fades fast.

8. HomeBudget: Keep your finances in check on the go. Keep track of budgets, expenses and save receipts.

9. i Emergency: I have three kids with different medical conditions, allergies and insurance information and it is difficult to answer all those questions in an emergency situation. This app is perfect for providing vital information.

10. Chore Bank: Kids can be sketchy, cute, but sketchy. You pay them $5 to do the dishes and they magically forget you paid them. They make you doubt and question your memory to the point of, "Did I pay him?" Keep it all on record.

Before you judge me, ask yourself, "What apps are on your phone, tablet or other device?" Prior to someone else asking you and you blurt out "Bubbles." I do not understand popping virtual bubbles for my entertainment. If that works for you, pop on!
