On Sunday, September 29, come to Conquest Comics to celebrate the artwork of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael. Let me rephrase that, Conquest Comics will be celebrating the artwork of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for Mirage Studios in 1984, our half-shell heroes were taken over by IDW Publishing in 2011. Who can forget these pizza-loving turtles dealing with such characters as Shredder, the Foot Clan, Karai and the Rat King.

Located at 659 Atlantic City Boulevard in Bayville, Conquest Comics will have available that day a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exclusive variant issue #97. On hand for some signing and sketching will be the cover and interior artist Michael Dialynas. Besides TMNT, Dialynas is also known for his work on The Woods graphic series. Flying in from Greece to be a part of the New York Comic Con, it is also awesome that he is making Conquest Comics a stop while visiting the states. All of this will be taking place between 1PM and 6PM.

In addition to Dialynas, Ilias Kryiazis (Collapser and Dirk Gently's Holistic Agency) and Dani (Coffin Bound and 2000 AD) are also scheduled to be on hand for some signings as well. Now, this wouldn't be a party without music! That's How They Get Ya will be bringing their funk rock and some TMNT Trivia along to the party. Having been described as having a Talking Heads style with the vocalizations of Tom Jones, That's How They Get Ya consists of Captain James (vocals), Doug Mikula (guitar), Kurt Thum (keys), Mike Smith (bass) and Brett Smith (drums).

So come on out to Conquest Comics this Sunday, whether you are a nerd or not because there is only one thing left to say: "COWABUNGA!"
