Cheapest Gas Around Lacey: Aug. 27 Price Updates
Plan ahead and save a little before Labor Day weekend. Here are the lowest prices in town.

LACEY, NJ — Life is expensive enough as is. Patch is making it a little easier to compare gas prices around town.
The cost of a regular gallon of gas in Ocean County averaged $2.62 Tuesday, according to AAA. The state average ran at $2.636, while the national average was $2.585.
Here's what you're paying at the pump for regular around Lacey, according to gasbuddy.com. Patch also included how the prices compare to our previous edition of local costs from July 24.

- Delta, 602 Main St., Lanoka Harbor, $2.39 (24 cents cheaper than July 24)
- Wawa, 701 Route 9 N, Lanoka Harbor, $2.41 (24 cents cheaper)
- Wawa, 800 Lacey Rd., Forked River, $2.45 (24 cents cheaper)
- Wawa, 444 S Main St., Forked River, $2.45 (24 cents cheaper)
- Shell, 922 W Lacey Rd., Forked River, $2.49 (26 cents cheaper)
- Exxon, 341 Route 9, Lanoka Harbor, $2.59 (25 cents cheaper)
One gallon of regular gas at the Forked River Service Plaza costs $2.77, according to gasbuddy.com. The plaza, including the Sunoco station, will close for construction in September.
