Cops: Man Picked Up For Theft At Family Member's Home

Nicholas Kutassy was wanted on a $10,000 warrant, police chief says.

A Lacey police officer recently located a Forked River man wanted on a $10,000 warrant for theft and criminal mischief at a family member’s home, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Christopher Meyler located Nicholas Kutassy, 33, of Merrimac Road at 5:40 p.m. on Feb. 10 in Forked River. The warrant for Kutassy was issued earlier in the day after the incident on Brick Avenue in Lanoka Harbor, the chief said.

Kutassy was taken to Lacey Township Police Headquarters, where he was processed and then transported to the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail, Paprota said.
