Why are you running for this position?

In the Spring, April 5th Patch ran an article that said the Republican incumbents were running unopposed- there should always be multiple candidates in any election to promote the democratic process. So I obtained a petition from the County Clerk and filled it out.

What separates you from the other candidates?

Many things- but mainly I have no strings attached- that is my slogan- I accept money from no one, take orders from no one and I don't owe anyone ANY favors of any sort. I paid for my entire campaign with my own funds. My expenditures will be posted on the NJ ELEC site. (The NJ Election Law Enforcement Commission.)

What do you think is the most pressing issue in the town and how do you intend to address it?

One of the most pressing issues in Lacey is the new advent of multi family housing- while some is required to meet COAH mandates (NJ Council on Affordable Housing) it doesn't have to be as dense as the current Master Plan is allowing. The Township Master Plan is due for review and it needs to be more focused on the quality of life for Lacey's current residents instead of lining the pockets of greedy developers

If elected, what do you hope to accomplish?

A Master Plan that is fair to current and future residents of Lacey.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know?

They can contact me 9AM-9PM with questions or concerns on 609-290-5125. My Facebook page has an email address specifically for the campaign: ReginaforCommittee@gmail.com. I attend the Township Committee meetings regularly and can be seen on Lacey Comcast Chan 21. I also attend the LMUA meetings, the Planning Board meetings for nearly 20 years, the Lacey Board of Education meetings, the Lacey Municipal Alliance meetings, and most recently, the Ocean County Commissioner meetings in Toms River.
