• Nor'easter Reschedules Lacey Day (patch.com) — Lacey residents should note that the township's annual Lacey Day celebration has been postponed from Sept. 26 to Sunday, Oct. 4 because of an approaching nor'easter bringing wind and rain. The free family event at Gille Park will still feature games, a Battle of the Bands, food trucks, and local businesses from noon to 4 p.m.
   

• Team gymnastics performance list for Sept. 25 (nj.com subscription) — Lacey High School's gymnastics team posted a strong 105 score for the week of Sept. 18–24, putting the Lions right in the mix with some of New Jersey's top programs. While other schools currently lead the season rankings, Lacey's consistent performances show they're competitive on the statewide stage and worth watching as the season progresses.
