Forest Fire Burning In Ocean, Burlington counties
Residual smoke is drifting northeast, Ocean County Sheriff's Department says.

The State Forest Fire Service was on the scene of a forest fire burning on the Burlington County/Ocean County line, just north of Route 72 and west of Route 539 early this morning, according to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page.
“There is no danger at this time,” the page states. ”There are no structures being threatened at this time.”
Residual smoke from the fire is drifting northeast, into parts of Lacey and Manchester.

The New Jersey Forest Fire Service is advising motorists to use caution and reduce speed on Route 539 from Route 70 in Manchester to Route 72 in Barnegat, due to heavy smoke conditions.
