Update: Missing Forked River Man Found

The man left his residence without medication he needs for his diabetes and Alzheimer's, police said.

LACEY, NJ — A Silver Alert was issued for a 96-year-old man in Forked River, Lacey police said.

Update: As of 6:15 p.m. on May 10, Stradder has been found safe, Lacey police said.

Robert Stradder left his home at about 11:30 a.m. May 10 without a cellphone, police said. Stradder is also diabetic and has Alzheimer's. He left without his medication and insulin, which he depends on, police said. Stradder is also hearing impaired.

Stradder was last seen driving his 2007 red Toyota Camry (NJ registration: RVZ18K). He was last seen at about 2 p.m. traveling in Seaside Heights, police said.

Stradder is described as six feet tall, 210 pounds, with gray balding hair. He also is missing three upper front teeth. He was last seen wearing a light gray turtleneck, blue jeans and black leather shoes.

His destination is believed to be an unknown courthouse in the Ocean/Monmouth County area, police said.
