Four Hurt When Truck Crashes In Lacey Woods: Cops
Accident happened off West Lacey Road, police say.

Four Forked River men were injured, one critically, when the Chevy 2500 pickup they were riding in crashed into the woods and struck several trees off West Lacey Road, Sgt. Robert Flynn said.
The men were riding on a dirt road on the Lacey Materials property at 3:12 a.m. on March 26 when the driver lost control of the truck and left the roadway. The truck became airborne, struck several trees and came to rest on the front passenger side, trapping one occupant, Flynn said.

The Forked River Fire Company had to extricate a 20-year-old man, whose name has not been released. He is listed in critical but stable condition at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, Flynn said.
The other men, driver Michael Fox-Ricci, 19, Tyler Hayes, 21, and Thomas Boyd,19, were all taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River, he said.

The accident is under investigation by Patrolman Adam Ewart, Flynn, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office FAST team, and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department. No charges have been filed as the investigation continues, he said.
The Forked River Fire Department, Lacey Township First Aid Squad and MONOC paramedics assisted.
