Good Samaritan Asks For Birthday Cards For Boy Who Lost His Father
Scottie Stevens - son of Ocean County Detective John Scott Stevens - turns 11 on Feb. 19

This is from the Ocean County Police Fire and EMS Facebook page:
“Folks, we have a special request here from Dennis that we’d like to pass on:
Dear Family and Friends,
I would like to ask a small favor on project I’m working on for the son of law enforcement officer brother, Detective Scott Stevens (worked for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office) who passed away from a single motor vehicle accident while on duty. Detective Stevens passed away a few weeks ago (January 21, 2015) leaving behind his wife Dawn and his 10- year-old son Scottie. On February 19 Scottie will be turning 11 years old and I would like to raise as many birthday cards for him. Thank you very much in advance.
