iPod and $460 In Cash Stolen In Lacey Break-In

Theft occurred between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on April 5, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Lacey police are investigating a theft at a Twin River Drive residence that occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on April 5, Police Chief David a. Paprota said.

Officer Daniel Ricciardella responded to the home at 6:09 p.m. on April 5 on a report of a burglary, the chief said.

The homeowner reported that an unknown person or persons entered his residence and stole property from his bedroom. Entry was believed to have been made by removing the screen to the kitchen window. The stolen property is described as an IPod valued at $300 and approximately $460 in cash. A pair of sunglasses was retrieved from the scene and was submitted as evidence, Paprota said.
