Lacey Cop Spots Pot, Drug Paraphernalia In Car During Motor Vehicle Stop
Edward Baldasari, 22, also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and driving an unregistered vehicle, police say.

A Forked River man is facing drug charges after police stopped him on Kennebec Road near the intersection of Tamarack Road in Forked River recently, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Anthony Sarno was on patrol at 12:10 a.m. on Feb. 19 when he stopped Edward Baldasari, 22, Parkside Drive. Sarno noticed drug paraphernalia and marijuana in the passenger side of the vehicle, the chief said.
Investigation at the scene led to Baldasari’s arrest for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and driving an unregistered vehicle, Paprota said.
