Lacey police recently arrested a Lanoka Harbor woman on heroin charges after a motor vehicle stop on Clairmore Avenue near the intersection of Seagull Avenue, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Anthony Sarno was on patrol at 9:29 p.m. on May 18 in the area of Bay Way in the Lanoka Harbor section of the township when he conducted a motor vehicle stop. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Kristalyn Steadman, 24, Laurel Boulevard. He discovered she had an outstanding Mercer County Sheriff’s Department no-bail warrant and two Manchester Township Municipal Court warrants in the amounts of $500 and $250, the chief said.
Steadman was also found to be in possession of heroin, a hypodermic syringe, and drug paraphernalia. Steadman was transported to Lacey police headquarters, where she charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $2,500. Steadman was transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in default of bail, Paprota said.
