Lacey Cops: Forked River Man Facing Heroin Charges After Motor Vehicle Stop

Two others in the vehicle charged with possession of CDS, police chief says.

Lacey police recently charged a Forked River man with possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute heroin after a motor vehicle stop, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Lacey detectives obtained a search warrant for 207 Greenwood Lane in Forked River as part of an ongoing drug distribution investigation. The warrant was issued after the Feb. 3 motor vehicle stop that led to the arrest of Michele Baig, 26, Drew Avenue, Lanoka Harbor for possession of crack cocaine, the chief said.

The target of the investigation was Steven Concannon, 54, 207 Greenwood Lane in Forked River. Police detained Concannon - a passenger in the car - after the motor vehicle stop while the warrant was executed at his home, Paprota said.

Robert Goffio, 34, 1205 Ocean Street, Forked River, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Paprota said.
