Lacey Cops Issue Warrant For Man Who Shoplifted Almost $500 Of Legos From Walmart
Douglas M. Gifford Jr., 31, is still at large, police chief said.

Lacey police are looking for a Toms River man who is accused of trying to shoplift $488 worth of Legos and a quart of oil from Walmart recently, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas responded to the store on 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor at 5:37 p.m. on Feb. 19 on a shoplifting report. The loss prevention employee reported that he observed a man trying to leave the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise that had not been paid for, the chief said.
The merchandise consisted of $488.06 of Legos and a $4.47 quart of oil. The shoplifter was identified as Douglas M. Gifford Jr., 31, Flint Road, Toms River. A $1,500 warrant was issued for his arrest, Paprota said.
