Lacey Cops: Prescription Medication Swiped From Mailbox

Medication was valued at $100, police say.

Lacey police are investigating the theft of prescription medication that was stolen from a residential mailbox on Kenney Street in Forked River recently, Police Chief Michael DiBella said.

Officer Brian Holt took a report of the theft from the victim at 3:56 p.m on July 13. The victim said the medication was delivered to his mailbox sometime on Saturday, July 9. The U.S. Postal Service reported that the medication was delivered sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. that day, the chief said.

The medication was valued at $100, DiBella said.
