Lacey Girl Scouts Honored For Earning Bronze Award
The Bronze Award project was a movie honoring Lacey's 150th anniversary, telling the history of the township.

LACEY, NJ — Members of Lacey Girl Scout Troop 50249 were honored for their Bronze Award win at a recent Lacey Committee meeting.
The Bronze Award is the third highest award a Girl Scout can get. The project that won the award was a movie that the troop created for Lacey's 150th anniversary.
The girls were in fifth and sixth grade at the time, Juniors in Girl Scouts. An additional challenge was that they made the movie during the pandemic.

"It's really nice to see the girls for a change, because we get a lot of Boy Scouts," Juliano said.
Now, the troop is heading to get the Silver Award, and they said they already have ideas brewing.
