LACEY, NJ — As ALDI readies to open by the end of summer, Lacey also anxiously awaits another four-letter word: Lidl.
Lidl's public relations told Patch the discount grocer is set to open by spring 2020. He will let us know when they set a grand-opening date or have further announcements.
The discount grocer is under construction on Route 9. Lidl first opened in Germany in 1973, expanding to the US in 2017.
