Lacey Man Hits Cop In Eye, Kicks Out Police Car Window: PD
Police had been called to Lacey Inn for a disturbance.

LACEY, NJ — A Lacey man hit an officer in the eye while getting arrested Tuesday night at Lacey Inn, police said. Steven Carter also kicked out the back window of a police car, which cut another officer's face, according to authorities.
Police had gone to the Lacey Inn at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday for a disturbance. They were arresting Carter, 46, for criminal mischief before the motel resident got combative, police said.
Carter was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer (two counts), criminal mischief (two counts), obstructing administration of law (one count) and resisting arrest (one count), police said. Authorities took him to the Ocean County Correctional Facility.
