Lacey Man Steals Roommate's Possessions, Gives Them To Store: PD

LACEY, NJ — A Lacey man stole his roommate's possessions and gave them to a second-hand store, police said. Craig Powers was charged with theft Sunday after finding those belongings, including camera equipment, at a Pleasantville store, authorities said.

The victim told police Friday afternoon that someone entered his vehicle the night before. He went back into his Clairmore Avenue home and noticed his Canon camera, several lenses and other equipment were missing from his bedroom, police said.

Authorities took Powers to the Ocean County Correctional Facility without bail. He also had several outstanding warrants from various municipalities, police said.
