Lacey Memorial Day Parade, Memorial Set For Monday

LACEY, N.J. — Lacey Township's Memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. Monday. Road closures will begin at around 9:45 a.m.

Traffic will be blocked on Lacey Road from just west of Forked River Elementary School (Caldwell Avenue) to three blocks west of the Lacey Township Municipal Building (Newark Avenue). The side streets to Lacey Road will be barricades during the parade.

At the conclusion of the parade, Lacey Road will be blocked between Manchester Avenue and Newark Avenue until about noon for a memorial.

The memorial service takes place at Bicentennial Park on Lacey Road in front of the Lacey Township Police Department. If you're driving around Lacey Road in that timeframe, Lacey police Chief Michael C. DiBella says to seek an alternate route.
