Lacey Police Charge 'Aggressive' Driver With DUI

Lacey Township police recently arrested a Bayville man and charged him with drunk driving after they responded to a report of an aggressive driver heading south on Route 9, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officers Darrell Nick and Patrick Watkins responded to the area at 6:51 a.m. on March 20, where they observed a vehicle being operated recklessly, the chief said.

Police stopped John J. Santo, 53, on the 400 block of Route 9 in Lanoka Harbor. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving, Paprota said.

His car was impounded as per John‘s Law, the chief said.
