Lacey Police Charge Bayville Man With Drunk Driving

Police responded to several reports of an erratic driver near the Cedar Creek bridge, police chief says.

Lacey police recently arrested a Bayville man after they responded to a report of an erratic driver on Western Boulevard near the Cedar Creek bridge, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Patrick Watkins responded at 9:04 a.m. on March 31. He found Addam Corson, 21, Lakewood Avenue, stopped with a flat tire, the chief said.

Further investigation at the scene led to Corson's arrest for driving under the influence. He was taken to police headquarters where he was also charged with reckless driving and failure to exhibit a driver's license, Paprota said.

The 16-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where she was turned over to the custody of her father, he said.
